Causes We Support Financially

Our mission at Money Maven Financial is to help people engage with and better understand their finances so that they can feel good about their money. We understand that not everyone has the means to work with a Financial Advisor, so we financially support local non-profits who help people with lesser means in their journey towards financial empowerment.

By backing these organizations, we help people get the financial education and resources they need to build a confident and independent future. We believe that when people are financially empowered, our whole community thrives.

Whatcom Dream

Whatcom Dream

The Whatcom Dream is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been providing financial empowerment courses and community education since 1999. All of their classes and programs are offered for free because of generous community support. 
 

Their mission is to use financial education to empower individuals to achieve a higher quality of life.

LAW Advocates

LAW Advocates

The mission of LAW Advcoates is to provide free civil legal assistance to low-income Whatcom County residents by linking them with attorney and community volunteers.

They do this by organizing and operating legal advice clinics, engaging in community education, and providing clients with referrals to appropriate organizations/services, and so much more.

Whatcom Women in Business

Whatcom Women in Business

Whatcom Women in Business is a local group that connects businesswomen through monthly member meetings, honors outstanding women with their annual awards event, and supports women pursuing their education with their scholarship fund.

Nicole is an ongoing member, a past Board Member, and a donor of the organization.
