Every once in a while, I get lucky enough to write for, or be featured in, another publication. Below are a few examples. If you or someone you know is looking for someone to contribute a piece- especially if it's related to women and money- please let me know!

National Publications

Morningstar Feature

Nicole was contacted by a journalist for an article titled "Should you care who your financial adviser voted for?" after sharing thoughts on LinkedIn.  Here's one quote from the article:

"It's not that you have to agree on every single issue, but we as advisers have beliefs, viewpoints, philosophies, ideologies that influence our work," Burdick said. "It's important for us to be aware of how those beliefs show up."

Investopedia Feature

Nicole contributed to an Investopedia piece on the pro's and con's of investing a return in the stock market, here's a little snippet:

"If someone received a $3,050 tax refund and invested it into an index such as SPY late last March, say the 31st, their investment would have grown by about 5% to $3,302... However, if they had done the same thing on March 31, 2022, they would have lost at least 11%, leaving them with $2,714."

HerMoney Feature

Nicole contributed to an article for HerMoney on the single mom challenge of saving for retirement and paying for college, here's one quote:

“An informed decision is deciding that education is so important to you that you’re willing to work five more years,” Burdick says. “An uninformed decision is deciding to pay for college no matter what.”
